Focus On: Glen Eira City Council

Indigo Training began working with Glen Eira City Council in 1999 after a strong recommendation was given from Whitehorse City Council.

Indigo Training has worked throughout the council, in many departments to deliver training, induction, mentoring, and much more as part of their Ongoing Cultural Change Program. 

As with Whitehorse, Glen Eira City Council understands the need for ongoing training, to ensure that their service level is kept at the same high standard that won them multiple customer service and benchmark awards.

This award winning Council firmly believes that Exceptional Customer Focus is at the forefront of the services that it provides to its residents in Glen Eira and delivers an exceptions 80% first call resolution rate.

Accountability for the actions of all Council staff that have customer interaction was achieved by implementing a Customer Relationship Management System. The CRMS allows for improved efficiency and information flow throughout all departments. 

Departmental Charters were developed in conjunction with team members to allow for a set of guidelines which were used to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer focus, and also as a performance enhancement tool.

Members of Glen Eira City Council have formed a positive and functional culture where people look forward to coming to work and interacting with their community.

We have enjoyed working with Glen Eira Council, and have forged many long lasting friendships with management and staff alike.  We look forward to working with Glen Eira City Council into the future as they truly are Champions of Customer Focus.
